When I set out to create The Modern Salesman, my vision was to bring a level of refinement and elegance that was missing from every other real estate sales resource I had found previously. I like to think I’ve read every sales & business worth reading, seen every coach and would-be-guru, and have even taken Ivy-league level courses & certificates.

But what was the common thread among them all?

They all lack a simple way of doing things that brings them both joy and pride in their work. Once upon a time, clients were wow-ed by their sales-Sherpas. I’m not just talking about wining & dining or flashy big talk – what I mean is bringing something genuine and personal to client interactions.

Maybe this idea isn’t so Modern after all?

Sales should be elegant. The art of Selling and working with clients & customers must be revived. That’s why I’m here.

Active in the market, Dan brings real-world experience and sales strategy to the table.

After graduating with a BA in Psychology, I trained as a Gold Concierge for one of the world’s premiere hotel groups. Completing a postgrad certificate in Sales Growth, I graduated into a leading corporate sales role focussed on selling luxury in an intimate setting by building in-person relationships in fantastic destinations. I also likes to think I’ve read every sales and business book out there (that’s worth reading).

Seeking a higher level of competition and control over my business, I made the shift to the real estate industry and hit the ground running. After selling a $1M property on my very first day, I achieved over $250K in GCI in my first year in real estate. By practicing what I preach, I currently generate over $45K/month in gross commissions. In my mind however, the true measures of success are the glowing thanks, stellar recommendations and votes of confidence I receive from my clients every single day.
